Admin : Hello Dear! This is Mr. Ojo Samuel from Debriche Health Development Centre (DHDC). Thank you for speaking out about your experiences. This, in itself, is bravery. We are aware that stigma and discrimination are barriers to your TB journey. There are so many people who are faced with the problem of stigma and discrimination but are unable to tell someone about it. You have shown that you are a fighter by speaking out, and only fighters like you can win the war against stigma of any sort. TB is like every other communicable disease, and fortunately, it is preventable, treatable, and curable. If you don't feel bad for treating cough, fever, or malaria, why then do you feel bad about tuberculosis? They are all preventable, treatable, and curable. Here are some ways that can help you overcome any type of stigma: 1. You have to learn more about TB using the Get Information and Get to Know Your Rights modules on the app. This will help you talk to your family members and others about what TB is about and why they should see it like they see malaria, fever, or cough. It will also help you overcome the negative feelings you have about yourself. 2. Ensure that you adhere to your treatment measures by taking your drugs at the right time and in the right dose as prescribed by the healthcare worker. This will help you recover and completely cure the disease. 3. Ensure to follow the preventive measures by maintaining healthy hygiene that will stop the spread of TB to others and also prevent you from getting re-infected when you're cured. 4. Always speak out for TB, conquer your fears, and save the lives of others. We hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing from you. Remember to stay strong in the face of your challenges. We are always here to support you in any way possible. Best regards,  Ojo Samuel
